Job summary

OCC Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a large enterprise environment in Staffordshire on an initial 3-6 month contract. You will provide hands-on support across server OS, cloud platforms, virtualization, Microsoft technologies and enterprise storage, working onsite daily.

The role involves collaborating with network, security and applications teams to resolve incidents and drive improvements in the IT estate.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience across multiple core infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers, cloud platforms and storage.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Windows and Linux server environments
• Administration and troubleshooting of physical and virtual infrastructure
• Supporting VMware environments
• Supporting Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Administration of Microsoft 365 services
• Supporting Intune and SCCM
• Supporting enterprise storage, ideally NetApp
• Investigating and resolving infrastructure incidents
• Collaborating with other infrastructure, network, security and apps teams
