Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid, on-site role in Crawley. The contract focuses on on-premise technologies, providing 3rd line support and contributing to infrastructure improvements within an ITIL-led environment.

Responsibilities include managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, virtualization, backup and DR, and scripting for automation, with emphasis on reliability, availability and performance of core services.

Qualifications

• 3rd line infrastructure support experience in an enterprise ITIL environment.
• Windows Server administration (2012/2016 and later).
• Active Directory, Group Policy and file permissions.
• VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 administration.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls and wireless technologies.
• Backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• SQL Server administration experience.
• SCCM or equivalent endpoint management tools.
• Experience working within SLA‑driven environments.

Infrastructure Engineer

Hybrid, 2 days on site

£550 per day (umbrella engagement)

We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise infrastructure environment. This is a hands‑on contract role with a strong focus on on-premise technologies, providing 3rd line support, maintaining business‑critical systems and contributing to infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Working within an ITIL‑led environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance and resilience of core infrastructure services, whilst supporting ongoing automation and modernisation activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer seeking a varied contract role supporting a complex enterprise environment with a strong emphasis on traditional on‑premise infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Desirable
