RSK LDE is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the Wigan area. This full-time, permanent role focuses on delivering high-quality infrastructure designs and drawings while meeting programme deadlines and industry standards.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, liaise with authorities, and contribute to practical, compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions for residential and commercial developments.

Competenze

• Relevant degree or HNC in a relevant field or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience in drawing production and design of roads, sewers and residential developments
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, PDS for highway design and ground modelling; familiarity with CIRIA SuDS Manual and related standards
• Understand and implement Designer’s duties under the CDM Regulations 2015, including responsibility for safety and compliance

The Vacancy

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at LDE, an RSK Group company. This is a full time and permanent position that would suit someone who is ready to start their career with team of industry experts. LDE are a building services engineering consultancy based in the Wigan area. Formed in 2003, RSK LDE provide a complete engineering design service for residential and commercial development projects, both pre and post planning. It now has a highly experienced team made up of professional civil and structural engineering staff with many years’ experience in the assessment, design and construction of major development projects.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure design projects, producing high-quality designs and drawings while ensuring projects are delivered to programme and the latest industry standards. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, authorities and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, compliant and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare infrastructure designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD and other industry-standard software.

• Liaise with Local Authorities and Drainage Authorities to secure approvals for adoptable works (Sections 104, 38 and 278).

Qualifications and Experience:
