SCP Infrastructure & Design, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead technical delivery on highways and drainage schemes across nationally significant UK projects. This hybrid role offers a 35-hour week, a salary range of £43,000–£53,000, and an 8% employer pension contribution, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative, inclusive environment

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the technical delivery of highways and drainage designs on medium to large projects
• Producing and checking drawings, calculations, and specifications to a high standard
• Providing day-to-day technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and technicians
• Coordinating design inputs and managing workloads to meet programme deadlines
• Reviewing outputs to ensure compliance with standards, legislation, and best practice
• Supporting client engagement and contributing to design discussions and solutions
• Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and championing quality across the team
  Strong experience in highways and drainage design (roads, foul & surface water)
• Proven background across multiple sectors (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.)
• Experience producing technical reports such as Drainage Strategies, FRAs and O&M Manuals
• Confident communicator with the ability to guide and influence others
• Strong design software and Microsoft Office capability
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges
• Full UK driving licence
