Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team across Ipswich, London or Solent offices. You will deliver drainage and highway schemes, coordinate with utilities and other disciplines, and advance project documentation from feasibility to construction.

You will apply flood risk management principles, work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage tools, and contribute to multidisciplinary design reviews and planning submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing drainage/highways infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage software.

Responsibilities

• Design drainage and infrastructure schemes for highways, residential and commercial projects.
• Perform detailed hydraulic and hydrological calculations.
• Prepare reports, drawings and technical submissions for planning/consent regimes.
• Coordinate with utilities and multidisciplinary teams to identify clashes.
