Sweco is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team across Ipswich, London or Solent offices in the UK. The role focuses on drainage and highway schemes, coordinating with utilities and other disciplines.

You will design infrastructure solutions, perform hydraulic calculations, manage project documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver planning and construction outputs.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of flood risk management principles and infrastructure design
• Proficient in drainage, earthworks and highways design software
• Familiarity with environmental standards, DCG, SUDS, and highway design guides

Responsabilités

• Design drainage and infrastructure schemes for highways, residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
• Perform hydraulic/hydrological calculations and prepare submission packages
• Manage project portals, ISMS compliance, and prepare planning/construction documents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present concepts to clients
