Job summary

Sweco UK is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to lead drainage and highway projects from inception to completion across Ipswich, London or Solent offices. You will manage complex calculations, design tasks and client interactions, guiding junior engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers flexible hybrid working, exposure to major residential, healthcare and energy schemes, and opportunities for professional progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and implementation of drainage and infrastructure schemes for private and public sector projects.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations, cut and fill analysis, and highways design.
• Prepare complex reports, drawings and submissions for planning applications and construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients and regulators to ensure project success.
