Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer with extensive postgraduate experience in drainage design for Roads, Active Travel and Major Civil Engineering schemes. The role sits in our high performing Roads and Drainage team, based in London & South East with offices in Cambridge, London, Basingstoke, Guildford or Southampton.

You will deliver design solutions, prepare technical reports and coordinate resources to meet project deadlines while applying DMRB, SuDs and hydraulic modelling tools across

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• CEng or IEng status with a professional institute or close to achieving qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design solutions for roads, public transport and active travel projects.
• Prepare technical reports and effectively communicate outputs to clients.
• Coordinate engineering and technician resources to deliver work packages.
• Develop and broaden the technical capacity of the Roads and drainage team.
• Apply DMRB, CIRIA and other relevant standards.
