Job Description

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of the obsolescence programme. This role involves managing remediation activities, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the successful delivery of work packages in line with the established roadmap.

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for a team of talented consultants delivering complex projects that deliver real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan with key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  2. Ensure obsolescence remediation activities (upgrades, migrations, decommissioning) are executed on time and within scope.
  3. Track progress, report status updates, and escalate issues as needed.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external teams (IT, Security, Business Units) for smooth execution of remediation plans.
  5. Work with external vendors on support agreements, licensing, and hardware/software replacements.
  6. Ensure alignment with business continuity and compliance requirements.
  7. Identify operational risks related to obsolescence and propose mitigation strategies.
  8. Ensure remediation activities do not disrupt critical business operations.
  9. Maintain a risk log and work with the Programme Manager to escalate and address major risks.

Qualifications

  • Deep domain knowledge of how the public sector operates.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure lifecycle or obsolescence projects.
  • Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Solid understanding of risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work within an established programme framework, ensuring governance adherence.
  • Hold relevant security clearances.

Additional Information

  • Must be reliable and flexible.
  • Working hours will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour staggered shift across the 10-hour window.
