Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager for major infrastructure projects in the UK. You will apply extensive cost management expertise in a challenging environment, supporting budgets, forecasts and value engineering.

You will oversee contract administration, collaborate across client and contractor teams, and drive cost forecasts, governance and deliverables to successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven Cost / Commercial Management experience.
• MRICS NEC3 contracts (in particular Option C - Target Cost) preferred.
• Post contract administration experience.
• Experience on Major Programmes/Projects and infrastructure (Rail, air, ports, utilities, highways).
• Experience in leading and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with clients and project teams.
• Administer contracts in line with objectives and policies.
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
• Proactively monitor cost variance and cash flow; ensure timely applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and value engineering.
• Lead contract change effectively within governance.
• Drive forecast and budget accuracy improvements.
• Provide sound commercial knowledge to stakeholders.
• Negotiate final accounts.
• Lead people and commissions as needed.
