Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager for the Infrastructure Division to grow our client base and revenue across UK projects. You will identify opportunities, build strategic relationships with contractors, consultants and owners, and lead proposals from initial contact to win.

This client-facing role requires a disciplined approach to CRM, forecasting and cross-selling SOCOTEC services, with regular travel across the UK and the option for hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of business development and sales growth within infrastructure, civil engineering or related technical services.
• Strong understanding of the UK construction and infrastructure market.
• Experience building relationships with contractors, consultants and asset owners.
• Ability to manage and convert a high-quality sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Grow SOCOTEC's Infrastructure client base and revenue with annual sales targets.
• Develop a structured business development programme to qualify and close opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with major contractors, owners, consultants and developers.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and negotiations to secure new work.
