SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Business Development Manager covering the Midlands and North, with a background in earthworks or construction materials testing. You will drive growth, develop the commercial pipeline, and convert leads into long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven track record of sales growth in construction materials testing.
• Strong industry network and ability to develop a sales pipeline.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and earthworks specifications.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to potential client prospects.
• Support with delivering written sales proposals/bids.
• Close liaison with operations managers to ensure contract review and successful project delivery.
• Closing sales opportunities with tenacity and pro-activity.
• Reporting on sales pipeline to the Sales Director via regular meetings.
• Supporting the wider sales team with cross-divisional sales activity.
