Overview:

A leading UK-based manufacturer are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to deliver first-line IT support to internal users and provide administrative support to the IT team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and has a passion for resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Role & Responsibilities:

1st Line IT Support

• Provide first-line support for IT issues related to software, hardware, and networks.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party providers.

IT Administration

• Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets.
• Process IT invoices and support procurement.
• Maintain documentation, including change requests, reports, and meeting notes.

Project Administration

• Set up and update SharePoint project sites.
• Track project status in Microsoft Teams.
• Schedule meetings and record key actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Office 365, and SharePoint.
• Good understanding of the Windows operating system.
• Experience with software/hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of relational databases; knowledge of SQL and C# is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
• Familiarity with Power BI report management.
