Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an IT Support Engineer to join its internal IT team. This hands-on 1st and 2nd line role supports users across a multi-site environment, taking ownership of incidents from triage to resolution.

You'll work across Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, endpoint security and desktop support, manage devices with Intune, assist with patching and vulnerability remediation, and help maintain IT documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1st/2nd line IT support in a multi-site environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 including Outlook/Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint.
• Experience managing users and access via Active Directory / Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support across desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers and peripherals.
• Manage and resolve support tickets in line with SLAs.
• Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Manage users and access through Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Support MFA, Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender.
• Deploy and manage devices via Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Assist with joiners, movers and leavers and patching/vulnerability remediation.
• Assist with IT asset, license and subscription management.
• Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articles.

Yolk Recruitment is supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an IT Support Engineer to join its internal IT team.

This is a hands-on 1st and 2nd line role supporting users across a multi-site environment.

You’ll take ownership of incidents from initial triage through to resolution, working across Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, endpoint security and general desktop support.

What you’ll be doing

What you’ll bring

You’ll have previous experience within an IT Support, Helpdesk or Desktop Support position, alongside:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID
• Exposure to Microsoft Defender / Advanced Threat Protection
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience supporting remote or multi-site users
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform, Paxton, Time & Attendance systems or Splicecom PBX would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
