Job summary

SoCode Limited in Cambridge is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing internal IT team. You will provide 1st to 3rd line support to staff across multiple sites, focusing on Microsoft technologies and end-user devices in a varied role.

Based at the Head Office with occasional site visits, the role covers infrastructure, AV and conferencing systems, network upgrades, and on-call rota duties to ensure smooth operation of services. The package includes 38K salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1st–3rd line IT support in a Microsoft environment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software for end users.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/Entra and Windows systems.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work.

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join their internal IT team, supporting users across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft technologies experience who enjoys a varied role combining desktop support, infrastructure administration, and occasional site visits.

The Role as an IT Support Engineer, you will provide both 1st and 2nd Line support to end users, ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation's IT systems and services. Based primarily at the company's Head Office, and will be part of a team to deliver excellant internal service.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide 1st–3rd line IT & AV support across a Microsoft environment.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/Entra and Windows technologies.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware, software and end-user devices.
