Job Title: Information Technology Network Manager, London (Erith)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager / Network Manager to oversee IT operations in a school-based organization near DA17, London. This is a permanent, on-site role with a salary up to £45,000.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily network infrastructure and server environments
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Develop and maintain the school’s IT strategy
• Ensure the smooth operation of cloud platforms, WiFi networks, AV, and educational software systems
• Collaborate with SLT and third-party providers to ensure security and compliance

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar IT leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365 / Microsoft 365
• Experience with switches, firewalls, and basic network security
• Knowledge of backup systems and disaster recovery planning
• Experience in the education sector is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with small budgets or suppliers
