Job summary

Capita seeks an Information Systems Trainer to deliver IT and naval communication systems training at HMS Collingwood, Fareham. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours/week, term-time only, with eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).

The trainer will deliver IS and NAVAL CIS training, participate in content reviews, and continuously update skills. Pro-active SME input to training design will be valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills (MS Office applications, Online Systems).
• Strong verbal communication/interpersonal skills.
• A passion for IT and Information Systems.
• Qualification in IT or worked within an IT support role, ideally networking.
• Any training/teaching experience would be desirable.
• Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level.
• Understanding of VM Ware and Virtualisation.

Help get better trained War Fighters to the front line faster Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. You will be responsible for the instruction of military students in all aspects of Information Technology including system administration, computer hardware, server administration and networking.
