Department: PR and Influence

Location: London

Ogilvy UK has been creating iconic ideas that deliver impact at scale for clients ever since David Ogilvy founded the company in 1948. Ogilvy UK specializes in bringing together brand advertising, customer experience marketing, PR, influence and consulting, all fueled by Behavioural Science. Our world-class award-winning creative campaigns deliver solutions for clients including Sainsbury’s, Argos, Mondelēz International, Unilever, TK Maxx and Pernod Ricard.

In 2023, Ogilvy UK celebrated their 75th anniversary and was the most awarded agency in Europe. Ogilvy is home to the largest influencer marketing practice globally, and hosts the world’s biggest festival of behavioural science and creativity, Nudgestock – now in its 12th year.

The Role:

As an Influencer Account Manager at our agency, you will be an essential part of our influencer proposition, covering the full range of influencer work. You will play a critical role in contributing to the influencer strategy, recommending objectives, targets, action plans, calendar, and budgets. Your strategic thinking and creativity will help develop best-in-class ongoing influencer programs for our diverse range of clients, integrating them into the overall strategy for owned, earned, and paid channels.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of influencer campaigns, from identification and implementation to overseeing and reporting. You will work collaboratively with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital, and all other stakeholders – internal and external, to deliver exceptional campaigns for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include managing the influencer database, ensuring it is up-to-date, and staying up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers' views and attitudes.

We are looking for a self-motivated, action-oriented, and ambitious individual with a positive "can-do" attitude. You will have a keen interest in all things social and be an avid follower of relevant news and trends. You will also have experience in building consistently productive relationships and strong stakeholder management skills. In addition, you should have proven experience in integrating digital and social media into campaign activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the Influencer strategy by recommending objectives, targets, action plans, calendars, and budgets.
  • Align and collaborate with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital, and all other stakeholders, internal and external, to deliver best-in-class campaigns for our clients.
  • Identify and nurture client-appropriate talent opportunities and relationships to help deliver the influencer program for clients.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of influencer campaigns, from identification and implementation to overseeing and reporting.
  • Maintain and build successful client relationships, selling in ideas and content streams in quick turnaround and high-pressure situations.
  • Present creative and sell content solutions to internal stakeholders and new and existing clients.
  • Manage the influencer database and ensure it is up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers' views and attitudes.
  • Assist in the development and participation in promoting our influencer offering across the business.
  • Support additional projects as required, such as new business pitches, market reviews, and competitive trends.
  • A passion for influencer marketing with a minimum of two years' experience in the field.
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and ambitious with a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • A keen interest in all things social and an avid follower of relevant news and trends.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing trends and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in building consistently productive relationships.
  • The ability to remain optimistic under pressure.
  • Strong experience in key stakeholder management.
  • A creative outlook with the ability to achieve the full potential from projects, keeping abreast of and utilizing new industry developments and technology.
  • Proven experience of integrating digital and social media in campaign activity.

If you are a results-oriented, strategic, and creative individual with a passion for influencer marketing, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and help us develop "best in class" ongoing influencer programs that integrate into our clients' overall strategies.

How we help you Thrive:

  • 25 days annual leave + 1 Volunteer Day
