Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to contribute to cross-functional efforts applying the ImmTAX platform to develop novel treatments for chronic infections. You will design and execute experiments, analyze data, and present results in internal meetings.

Essential qualifications include a PhD in molecular biology or related field with bench experience in ddPCR, NextGen sequencing, qPCR, cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISAs and ELISpots; knowledge of HIV/HBV/EBV is

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related discipline.
• 0-2 years related experience in bench-based lab environments.
• Proficient in key molecular techniques including ddPCR, NextGen sequencing, genomics/transcriptomics, PCR, mutagenesis, qPCR.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute assignments to meet project goals within defined timeframes.
• Execute experiments to address key scientific questions using molecular and cellular techniques.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and make recommendations.
• Proactively expand scientific/technical knowledge through literature review and seminars.
