Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to advance the company pipeline using ImmTAX and other modalities. The role involves planning and performing experiments, data analysis, and collaboration across Research and other departments.

Knowledge in HIV/HBV/EBV biology and immunology is advantageous. The post holder will work in a matrixed team, present findings internally, and maintain rigorous standards in data assessment and experimental design.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related discipline and 0-2 years related experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant work experience in relevant scientific areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute experiments to meet project goals within defined timeframes.
• Execute experiments using a range of molecular and cellular techniques including NextGen sequencing, DD-PCR, qPCR, cell culture, and flow cytometry.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and make recommendations.
• Present results at internal meetings and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
