Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist in Infectious Diseases to contribute to cross-functional efforts applying ImmTAX platforms to chronic infections such as HIV and HBV. The role involves planning and executing experiments across molecular and cellular techniques to advance the company pipeline within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology or related field.
• Experience with key molecular techniques and cell-based assays.
• Bench-based laboratory experience with data analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to meet project goals within defined timeframes.
• Analyse data, interpret results and present conclusions at meetings.
• Work in a matrixed team and establish cross-functional collaborations.
• Handle work in a CL3 facility with human viruses and contribute to drug development pipeline.
