Job summary

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is seeking an Infection Prevention Co-ordinator/Nurse to support the Director of Clinical Service in leading IP&C for the facility. The role involves coordinating IP activities, delivering training, and ensuring data is accurately uploaded for reporting.

You will work 20 hours per week and may participate in the IPC course to gain Level 6 credits. The role requires registration with the NMC and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC).
• Qualifications relevant to your registration.
• Experience in Infection Prevention or healthcare setting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of Infection Prevention and Control for the hospital.
• Upload IP data to the UKHSA database.
• Investigate infections at the site with department leads and identify care improvements.
• Chair the monthly hospital HCAI group and support the DIPC with IP&C Committee meetings.
