EDF (UK) is seeking an Industrial Safety Specialist to provide expert leadership on site, ensuring conventional and process safety arrangements meet company and regulatory expectations. You will advise line management, liaise with regulators, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

The role emphasizes field presence, coaching, and strong knowledge of nuclear safety frameworks, with opportunities for professional growth and a supporting, inclusive culture.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of HSE regulatory framework and UK safety legislation relevant to nuclear power operations.
• Experience with safety management systems and industrial safety standards.
• Ability to assess risk, provide coaching, and influence line management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent and proportionate industrial safety advice to line management and support Industrial Safety strategy.
• Liaise with regulators and external bodies on industrial safety matters.
• Evaluate compliance with legal and company safety requirements and report findings.
• Contribute to development and revision of safety standards and guidelines for company-wide use.
• Participate in the Industrial Safety Peer Group to drive continuous improvement and share best practices.
• Support activities of the location HESAC.
