Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Nuclear Safety Case Specialist with EDF experience to join our team in the UK. The role involves leading safety case work, engaging with EDF projects, and delivering assurance across the nuclear lifecycle.

You will work in a flexible hybrid pattern across offices and client sites, travel as needed, mentor junior colleagues, and help win new work while upholding UK regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable 10+ years of civil nuclear or defence nuclear infrastructure experience.
• Degree, Master's or PhD in a relevant STEM subject.
• Extensive understanding of the UK regulatory regime for nuclear safety cases and safety management.
• Experience with safety analysis and justification methods used in the nuclear industry.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EDF-related nuclear safety case work.
• Develop strategies to tackle complex nuclear safety challenges.
• Authoring or reviewing safety-related documents and substantiating safety cases.
• Develop client relationships and win new work; supervise junior colleagues.
