Job summary

Leonardo Basildon is recruiting for an Industrial Placement Software Engineer. You will work with developers on real projects, applying your software skills within a multidisciplinary team and across the product lifecycle.

You will gain hands-on experience, with a salary of £26,228 and dedicated coaching to meet placement objectives. The role expects campus-based days on-site at least three days per week, providing a strong path to a potential Graduate Development Programme.

Qualifications

• Science-based degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Electronic Engineering.
• Grow enthusiasm for designing software and coding with educational or personal project experience.
• Experience in an object-oriented language and a CV with courses/projects.

Responsibilities

• Gaining experience, applying knowledge of software engineering as part of an Integrated Project Team.
• Developing practical design skills for products and software components.
• Understanding the software lifecycle and business context.
