Arup is offering a 10-12-month Industrial Internship in Manchester for Civil Engineering undergraduates. You will work on real projects, learning from professionals, with regular leadership sessions, site visits, and a network-building focus to prepare for graduation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Developing infrastructure designs for development sites in the urban environment, including urban transport, site infrastructure, pavements, utilities and drainage design solutions.
• Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines.
• Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
• Using specialist analysis and design software such as Infodrainage, GIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise, ACC, Navisworks, Infraworks, Plant3D, InfoWorks, Python, and Copilot.
