Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Yeadon, Leeds. The role focuses on fault-finding, breakdown response, and preventative/reactive maintenance across a range of industrial machinery.

You will also support installation, commissioning and CI activities while minimising production downtime and building a long-term career within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on maintenance of planned, preventative and reactive tasks in a fast-paced factory.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fault-finding and breakdown response to keep production running.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on site.
• Support installation, commissioning and improvement projects to minimise downtime.
• Assist continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
