City Site Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join an on-site team on a large-scale industrial new build and refurbishment project in the UK. The role focuses on overseeing final finishing works, coordinating with site management and subcontractors, and driving snagging to completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing finishing and completion stages of construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of final finishing trades and construction processes.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Experience compiling and managing comprehensive snagging lists.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive works through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating all finishing works across the project.
• Overseeing subcontractors and trades to ensure works meet standards.
• Carrying out regular inspections of completed works.
• Identifying defects and compiling detailed snagging lists.
• Managing the close-out of snagging items through to completion.
• Ensuring finishes are completed to a high-quality standard within programme.
• Working with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Monitoring progress and keeping finishing activities on programme.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation.
• Ensuring the project is ready for handover and completion.
• Focusing on quality and attention to detail throughout the final stages.
