Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an Industrial Electrician to join The Mond Nickel Refinery in Swansea. The role offers a base salary of £37,893 rising to £40,121 on competency, plus overtime and an annual bonus.

The position is a 12-month FTC, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours with possible shift allowances. You will work with wiring systems and drives, diagnose faults in an industrial setting, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems to high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work with wiring systems including SWA, MICC, T&E and conduit.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in an industrial environment.
• Work with AC and DC drives, servos and motors.
• Undertake PLC fault finding.
• Carry out HV and LV isolation and switching.
• Install and maintain single and three-phase wiring systems.
