Job summary

TechNichols Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician for a global heavy plant manufacturing site. The role involves reactive and preventative maintenance, plus involvement in installations and improvement projects within an industrial setting.

You will work on PLC fault finding, VSD drives, and may engage with Fanuc robotics and PLC programming. A recognised electrical apprenticeship or Level 3+ qualification is required, with willingness to

Qualifications

Completed a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or Electrical Engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above.
Experience carrying out reactive and preventative electrical maintenance in an industrial/heavy manufacturing environment.
Experience with PLC fault finding; PLC programming skills are useful; experience with VSD drives beneficial.
Siemens PLC experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Support a wide range of heavy equipment and machinery including conveyors, mixing and robotics machinery.
Execute planned preventive maintenance and participate in projects and continuous improvement work.
Provide reactive maintenance, diagnose and repair breakdowns to get production lines back up and running quickly.
Work with VSD drives and PLCs.
