Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering team at Lifton Mill. You will own electrical maintenance across our plant and equipment, diagnose faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects to improve safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires working in a dusty, noisy manufacturing environment with a 40-hour week and a permanent contract. A City & Guilds electrical qualification and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing.
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels, and geared motors.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level.
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
• City & Guilds qualification in electrical engineering – 18th Edition.
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.

About The Role

As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.
