Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking an Industrial Door Engineer to cover the Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Dorset, Sussex and Berkshire regions. The role involves installing, servicing and repairing industrial doors and equipment, with a regional patch and regular overtime.

You will work on-site with customers, read schematics, and complete electronic reports. A full UK driving license is required; CSCS/IPAF are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with industrial doors.
• Fault-finding skills for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Comfortable working independently and at height.
• Willingness to travel across the regional patch.

An established industrial door specialist is looking for an Industrial Door Engineer to cover Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Dorset, Sussex and Berkshire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete electronic job sheets and service reports
• Identify and report any additional work required
• Support installations and larger projects when needed
• Deliver a professional service to customers on-site

Requirements

• Previous experience working with industrial doors
• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Competent using hand and power tools
• Able to read technical drawings and schematics
• Comfortable working independently and at height
• Basic IT skills for completing electronic reports
• Willingness to travel throughout the regional patch
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS and IPAF qualifications are desirable but not essential
