Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Industrial Door Engineer for a permanent field-based role in the Northwest. You will carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on industrial doors, respond to callouts, and assist with small installation projects, ensuring safety and compliance on every job.

The role offers a local patch with no night shifts away from home, a company van for personal use, a strong pension, and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience working with industrial doors; automatic door experience is a bonus.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• IPAF, PASMA and CSCS are preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to broaden knowledge into new product areas.

Role: Industrial Door Engineer

Location: Northwest

Salary: Up to £40,885 DOE + Van (personal use permitted) + Door to door

Shift: 42.5 hour week

Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x

On call rota: 1/5 weeks / Standby / 2x rate + Door to door

My client, a respected independent specialist in Industrial Door Systems, is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Industrial Door Engineer. This is a permanent, field-based role offering consistent work, a local patch, and the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge.

• Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance to a range of industrial doors (mainly roller shutters)

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience working with industrial doors, if you also have automatic door experience this would be a bonus
