Job summary

AVK UK Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Manager to drive the automation and digitalisation strategy across Chesterfield, Hyde and Corby.

You will lead a high-performing engineering team, improve plant performance, and implement Industry 4.0 solutions with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes cross-site collaboration, delivery of capex plans, and continuous improvement across three manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or similar).
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in automation projects and continuous improvement.
• Experience delivering multi-site engineering strategies.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering a multi-year automation and digitalisation strategy
• Driving engineering excellence, improving reliability, utilisation and OEE
• Overseeing installation, commissioning and optimisation of equipment and layouts
• Championing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives across all sites
• Managing and developing a high-performing team of engineers
• Ensuring full compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards
• Owning engineering budgets, capex planning and project delivery
