Job summary

Rise Executive Search & Recruitment Ltd is assisting a leading industrial automation client in recruiting an Area Sales Engineer to cover the North Tyne region, including North Shields, Whitley Bay, and surrounding areas. The role requires proven sales success in electrical/control and automation sectors and the ability to develop new business.

You will promote PLCs, switchgear, drives, sensors, HMIs, and process instrumentation to OEMs, end users, and system integrators.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling high quality industrial automation products to OEMs, End Users, system integrators and panel builders.
• Track record of achieving defined sales targets and growing a portfolio of accounts.
• Ability to develop personal account plans and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Sell a range of Industrial Automation products (PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear, VSDs, Sensors, HMI, instrumentation) to target markets across the North Tyne region.
• Build and manage an existing portfolio of accounts while seeking new business.
• Develop and execute plans to meet and exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.
