Job summary

Lord Search & Selection is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead growth across North West and North Wales, focusing on industrial automation technology. You will report to the Sales Manager and nurture existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities in OEMs, systems integrators, and end users.

The role emphasizes building long-term customer partnerships, delivering against targets, and offering technical and commercial support across the automation portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation or engineering sales within automation technologies.
• Strong technical understanding of automation portfolio and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the North West & North Wales territory.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end-user customers.
• Identify new project opportunities and drive specification sales.
• Provide technical and commercial support across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with in-house technical specialists and support teams.
• Deliver against sales targets and growth objectives.
• Maintain market awareness and competitor knowledge.
