Job summary

AIOSAIOS is expanding its team of Independent Prescribers to support GLP-1 weight-management prescribing across the UK. This contractor role offers full-time hours with remote or hybrid onsite options in Blackburn, allowing flexible scheduling for patient care and clinical governance.

You will join a fast-growing, founder-led company building an AI-assisted prescribing platform, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with support and technology teams.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber annotation.
• Experience prescribing GLP-1 weight-management regimens.
• Must be comfortable with remote/telemedicine consultations.
• Strong focus on patient safety and high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based GLP-1 prescribing for each patient.
• Conduct detailed consultations to capture information accurately the first time.
• Monitor treatment response and adverse effects; adjust as needed.
• Escalate complex cases or red flags to Senior Clinician Team Lead promptly.
• Maintain concise clinical notes and audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with support, ops and tech teams to ensure service safety.
