Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is recruiting a Weight Loss Pharmacist Independent Prescriber for a private weight management service in Nottingham. The role involves patient assessments, prescribing weight loss medications, and ongoing support throughout treatment, delivered through in-person and virtual consultations.

You will work within a dynamic clinical team, ensuring adherence to guidelines and patient safety, with opportunities for professional development in a growing private healthcare

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC and independent prescribing qualifications.
• Experience prescribing weight loss medications and managing weight management patients.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical consultations for patients in weight management services.
• Independently prescribe weight loss medications per clinical guidelines.
• Assess patient suitability and provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up.
• Deliver care via virtual and face-to-face consultations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with GPhC standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve the service.
• Promote safe prescribing and positive patient outcomes.
