Job summary

New Health is seeking an experienced Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to join our remote clinical team in the United Kingdom. This fully remote contract role involves reviewing consultations, making prescribing decisions, and supporting patients through online healthcare services.

As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist you will work autonomously within our governance framework, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high clinical accountability and patient safety.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is mandatory to practice.
• Experience with telemedicine or remote prescribing is essential.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making are required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient consultations and determine prescribing eligibility.
• Prescribe treatments in line with clinical protocols and governance standards.
• Conduct video or telephone consultations when clinically required.
• Respond to patient queries regarding treatment, eligibility, and side effects.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records using the EHR system.
• Escalate safeguarding concerns and complete PSI reports where necessary.
• Contribute to development and improvement of clinical protocols and documentation.
• Participate in clinical governance and team meetings as required.
• Work flexibly to support patient demand across remote services.
