Job summary

The White Lion in Amersham is seeking a dedicated support worker to provide one-to-one, person-centred assistance to adults living in supported accommodation.

You will help with daily living, personal care, medication, and community activities; must have care certificate or willingness to qualify; a full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential; sleep-ins required with an additional £52.78 per sleep-in.

Qualifications

• You are caring, proactive and experienced in support or care work.
• You communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs and value collaboration and inclusion.
• You work well independently and as part of a team, and you are flexible to cover weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting
• Delivering personal care sensitively and respectfully
• Assisting with medication and contributing to support plans
• Organising activities and encouraging community involvement
• Helping new team members through induction and mentoring
