Job summary

Believe Care and Support is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist team helping a young woman in her own home in Lytham St Annes. You will work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins, supporting daily living and promoting independence with a person-centred approach.

The role requires a clean UK driving licence held for over 3 years and a compassionate, flexible, team-oriented mindset. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Previous health and social care experience is desirable.
• Clean UK driving licence held for over 3 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support per individual plans.
• Support activities of daily living while promoting independence.
• Assist with budgeting and personal care as needed; develop life skills.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and community activities.
• Provide emotional support and maintain professional relationships.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Help individual make informed decisions and achieve goals.
• Support positive, proactive handling of challenging behaviour.
