Guardian Homecare is recruiting Learning Disability Support Workers to help Basildon residents live more independently. You’ll work across Basildon, Thurrock, Castle Point and surrounding areas, supporting people with daily living activities and community participation.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. We offer paid mileage, enhanced weekend and bank holiday pay, guaranteed hours for suitable candidates and a comprehensive training program.

Competenze

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or additional needs is welcomed.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.

Mansioni

• Follow individual support plans and risk assessments to provide consistent support.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and home management.
• Help with budgeting, shopping and travel to increase independence.
• Support to attend college, training, volunteering or employment and participate in activities.
