Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Basildon/Wickford and surrounding areas. You will support daily living, accompany activities in the community, and provide care at home, including practical tasks and medication support.

You will work a mix of early/late shifts, with weekend work as needed, and benefit from paid training, progression opportunities, and an inclusive, wellbeing-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
• Plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, including eating and administering medication.
• Plan and participate in activities and days out to promote independence.
• Help individuals become more independent wherever possible.
