Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Basildon, Castle Point, Chelmsford and Southend areas, including home and community settings. The role offers development opportunities and paid training within a supportive environment.

The position requires a full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover early, late, sleep-in shifts and alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required to meet the role's requirements.
• Available to work at least two shifts per week in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
• Plan daily tasks and assist with cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication.
• Plan and participate in outings and activities chosen by the individuals.
• Help individuals become more independent wherever possible.
