Job summary

Swanton Care in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health lead meaningful lives within their community. You will work as part of the Swanton Community Services Team, delivering person-centred support, encouraging independence, and promoting safety and wellbeing.

No prior qualifications required; comprehensive training provided through our Training Academy.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma or above in Health & Social Care

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence and help service users achieve personal goals
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of service users
• Communicate with service users using their chosen methods
• Monitor health changes and report to management
• Support service users to engage in local community activities
