Job summary

Positive Futures is seeking a Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, brain injury, or autism live independently and with real choice and control. No formal qualifications required; kindness and reliability are valued.

You’ll receive a full induction and join a supportive team, with training offered for NISCC registration. You’ll form meaningful relationships with the people you support, helping with daily living, money and medication, and facilitating access to community

Qualifications

• Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone.
• Basic digital skills to record notes and use rota, HR or care systems.

Responsibilities

• Form positive relationships with the person you support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help with housing, budgeting and medication as independently as possible.
• Support staying safe and healthy, enable community access and advocacy as needed.
• Record keeping of incidents, risk assessments and communications using digital systems.
