Orkney Islands Council is seeking a Social Care Assistant for Kirkujvagr House (ORK10866) in Kirkwall. You will provide centred care to help individuals live independently, in line with Health and Social Care Standards and local policies.

The post involves unsocial hours on a rota, PVG Level 2 disclosure, and reporting to the Registered Manager. Attractive benefits include a Distant Islands Allowance, a Golden Hello of £2,000, and Refer a Friend payments of £750.

Responsabilidades

• Observe confidentiality in all aspects of practice and ensure the safety and comfort of service users.
• Attend to general care and wellbeing, including assisting with personal care in line with the Care Inspectorate standards.
• Work unsocial hours on a rota as required.
• Report to the Registered Manager and follow local policies.
• Ensure PVG scheme membership and Level 2 disclosure as required.
