Job summary

Arawak Walton in Manchester is seeking an IndependentLiving/Scheme Manager for a full-time 35-hour week, with a starting salary of £26,265.12 plus excellent benefits, an attractive pension, and up to 31 days leave. You will manage housing and support services for tenants in the over-55s schemes and act as the main contact to deliver high-quality services.

You will oversee risk management, health and safety compliance, repairs, and planned works, while fostering a positive culture and supporting

Responsibilities

• Deliver support services to tenants, carrying out risk assessments and support plans with tenants and daily check-ins.
• Promote communication by involving tenants in decisions about the running of schemes; facilitate events and tenant interaction.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of facilities and services, liaising with tenants about repairs and contractor access.
• Be alert to safeguarding issues and recognise welfare concerns and signs of abuse.

We are looking for an individual with experience within social care to deliver high-quality housing and support services for tenants within the associations over 55s housing schemes.

Acting as the main point of contact for tenants, you will play a vital part in fostering a positive culture, driving continuousimprovementand supporting innovation and efficiency to help achieve Arawak Walton’s strategic goals

You will ensure the provision of high-quality services, effective risk management, and full compliance with health and safety requirements; while overseeing repairs and planned works to ensure they are completed to a high standard.

In this role, you willbe responsible for:

Support Services

-Deliver support services to tenants, carrying out risk assessments and support plans with tenants and complete daily check-ins

Tenant Involvement & Social Activities

-Promote communication by involving tenants in decisions about the running of schemes. Facilitate events which promote tenant interaction.

Scheme Management

-Be responsible for the day-to-day management of facilities and services, liaising with tenants about repairs and contractor access and report repairs

Safeguarding responsibilities

-Be alert to and recognising welfare issues and signs of abuse.
