Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is advertising a part-time Personal Assistant role based in Cardigan. You will work 22 hours per week at £15.00 per hour, supporting a gentleman to establish daily routines and maintain independence in the community.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building a supportive working relationship.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive daily routines and organisational systems.
• Assist with correspondence, diary management, and tracking appointments.
• Arrange and book appointments and activities.
• Provide support to attend appointments as required.
• Encourage participation in physical and recreational activities to stay active.
• Help access local amenities and community resources.
• Identify and research local events and volunteering opportunities.
• Offer encouragement to enhance independence and community involvement.
