Job summary

Medicare People is seeking self-employed Live-in Carers in Horsham to provide one-to-one care in clients’ homes, supporting independence and wellbeing. The role offers access to diverse placements, direct introductions to families, flexible schedules, and accommodation during assignments.

We offer weekly earnings from £830 per week and above, with training opportunities and support from an experienced care team to help you build a rewarding live-in care career.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a care environment.
• A caring and supportive nature.
• Confidence supporting clients in their own homes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible approach to different care needs.
• Medication experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality live-in care within clients' homes.
• Build trusting relationships with clients.
• Support personal care and grooming routines.
• Assist with mobility and moving around the home.
• Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day.
• Provide companionship and reassurance.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help keep the home clean, safe and comfortable.
• Support with shopping and collecting prescriptions.
• Monitor health and wellbeing.
• Maintain clear and accurate care notes.
• Work as part of a wider care team.
